It doesn't look like either a frog or a fish. It just sits there not moving anything except a little fishing lure dangling from its forehead. Why move ~ dinner will be served shortly. When food does present itself (small fish attracted to the forehead lure) that mouth opens so explosively... read more

Good thing Decorated Warbonnets are not hunted for the number of points on their rack.
A little bolder than the tiny Mosshead the Decorated Warbonnet still needs to be approached gently or you just get a shot from behind.

This is a PTL update on my Oh No! post last month where the filter ring on the front of my Nikon lens was damaged. I ordered the parts from Nikon and repaired it myself.
Update: As of July 13, 2012 Nikon USA is no... read more

I need a break from daily posting. However Laziness + OCD is a terrible combination. What to do? I know ~ automation.
For the next three weeks or so I'm going to have my computer post a daily Fish Face picture. I'll have to supply the commentary myself so this really isn't going to be... read more

Seeing the little cross adorned with remembrances there on the rocks, I positioned myself and waited for the moment. A surfer approached the entry point and paused, head bowed.
When it comes to the things we love, there is a price to be paid. The cross reminds those who love to surf... read more
