Please join us at 10AM every Sunday morning. We are grateful to have you as part of our family at Machias Community Church! Our service is also available as a livestream on our Facebook page.
What We Do
The purpose of our worship services is to exalt the name of Jesus and proclaim His gospel.
We worship through the reading, hearing, and teaching of God's Word.
We worship through singing a blend of traditional and contemporary Christ-exalting songs. We've put together a playlist on Spotify that will introduce you to the songs we sing when we gather together.
We worship through prayer.
We worship through giving.
What to Wear
We want you to dress comfortably. If you strive for something more formal than pajamas, but less formal than a 3-piece suit, you'll fit in just fine.
How do children fit into the life of your church?
We love kids (and families!) and we are blessed to have a bunch of them! We love it when families worship together on Sunday mornings. No, we are not bothered by noise, and we don't expect them to remain silent!
We have a cry room in the sanctuary for moms of little ones, and we offer a nursery downstairs for kids up to age 3.
For kids up to age 7, we do provide children's church downstairs - it begins just before the sermon. Our team strives to take each week's sermon text and help your kids grasp one or two key truths.
Will you ask me for money?
While we view giving as an important part of our worship, it is intended for our members and regular attenders. As our guest, you are under no obligation to give.
